1) Main Street Bagels

The location and atmosphere nears perfection which is why it is one of the best coffee shops in Grand Junction! First it is the only coffee shop on our beloved Main Street in downtown Grand Junction. It is an ideal location for the entrepreneur to work, the student to study, and the girls to catch-up over coffee. It is spacious so you don’t feel claustrophobic, they offer ample outdoor seating with umbrellas to shade you from the sun. Wi-fi is free and there are numerous outlets to plug into. They even offer a kids train set to keep the little ones entertained. There is a conference room that can be rented for free as long as everyone in the group spends at least $30 in coffee and food. Oh and I guess I should mention the coffee… It is decent coffee and feels homey when ordered in one of the ceramic cups. For those who dislike caffeine, there are a variety of fruit smoothies, sandwiches, bagels, and other bakery items available for purchase.
2) Kiln Coffee Bar

Located on Main Street, this coffee bar opened in 2017 by twin brothers, David and Jonathan Foster. They are known for their quality coffee! The feature coffee from the best of Colorado’s local roasters, which are rooted seasonally. Different brewing methods that they can do include french press, aero press, chemex, and V60 pour over. They have ample seating and there is free Wi-fi.
3) Trailhead Coffee Bar & Cafe

Heading up to the Colorado National Monument or on a bike ride on the Tabeguache trails, then you will be passing right by this location in the Redlands. It is a small homegrown coffee shop where the staff will always be sporting the Colorado flag. Don’t let the exterior or surrounding building keep you from coming it. You will be pleasantly surprised by their selection of coffee drinks, breakfast burritos, pastries, fruit smoothies, and sandwiches for lunch. There are a few tables and chairs inside.
4) Roasted Coffee & Subs

Just one-block from downtown Roasted draws the creatives from local artists to aspiring musicians. It has a unique artsy flair, with upbeat staff, and a menu with names that will have you scratching your head. The space inside is small, but they have a large corner lot with tons of tables and chairs outside. Their breakfast and lunch menu is large than some restaurants, so it is a great place to pick-up a bit to eat along with your caffeine.
5) Four Winds Coffee and Tea

This is another coffee shop that makes a great location to study, work, or just hangout due to the spaciousness and free wi-fi. You can also rent one of their meeting or study rooms located above the coffee shop for free. It is a Christian owned company, so you will see a lot of church meetings happening in the space. This coffee shop is the closest one to Colorado Mesa University, so it also tends to be a college student hangout. Their coffee is good, but they also have a lot of great treats and food.

Another coffee shop with a great atmosphere! It is a good place to meet friends or set up office and get some work done. They provide free wi-fi with a purchase and there are numerous places to plug in your lap top. They offer a private meeting room if reserved in advance. Traders offers a huge selection of both hot drinks and frozen beverages. It is a clean, open, and well put together local coffee shop.
7) Artful Cup

A quaint and historic coffee shop, where proceeds support HopeWest Kids. The Artful Cup feels like home, with a fireplace to cozy up to and a beautiful garden to stroll through. It is the closest independent coffee shop for out of town guests staying on Horizon Drive in North Grand Junction. They offer a basic menu with prices cheaper than the brand-name shops.
8) Java Junction

Of all the coffee shops in Grand Junction, this one is the oldest coffee and tea house. They are located across from the VA Hospital and one of the only coffee shops near the Clifton area. They regular provide their services to elementary teachers and non-profit organizations. Java Junction proudly serves Rimini coffee.
